Claude 3 is Anthropic’s most advanced AI chatbot to date. A serious competitor to ChatGPT and others.
Anthropic has been making waves since the launch of Claude, its AI chatbot and one of the top competitors to ChatGPT. While Claude and ChatGPT have some significant differences, the latest version of Anthropic’s AI, Claude 3, could propel the company forward.
Claude 3 is Anthropic’s Most Advanced AI Chatbot Yet
This recent major update was rolled out a few days ago, featuring a suite of AI models that Anthropic claims to be the fastest and most powerful they have ever developed. Claude 3 introduces several new key features, such as the ability to send and summarize images, and handle up to approximately 150,000 words. In comparison, ChatGPT can only handle a maximum of around 3,000 words.
Additionally, Anthropic states that Claude 3 outperforms Google Gemini Ultra and OpenAI GPT-4 in industry benchmarks, including in lower-level education, reasoning, and basic mathematics. With Claude 3, Anthropic also introduces multimodal support, allowing users to provide its AI with images, charts, documents, and other types of unstructured data for analysis.
A Serious Competitor to ChatGPT and Others
When Anthropic entered the market about a year ago, the startup seemed very promising. But with the launch of Claude 2 last year, and now with the introduction of Claude 3, the company has gained strong partnerships with Amazon, Salesforce, and Google, making it a serious competitor to ChatGPT, both for businesses and individuals.
Anthropic has not disclosed the training duration of Claude 3 or the cost of this AI, but the company mentioned that established firms like Asana and Airtable have assisted in conducting A/B tests on the models that Claude 3 is built on.
You can try Claude 3 yourself if you wish.
