The Legend of Zelda: The Time for an Epic Build Has Arrived

Zelda fans can now stop envying Lego enthusiasts. A new adventure is about to unfold thanks to Lego and Nintendo, who have recently unveiled an official set inspired by the captivating universe of The Legend of Zelda.

The Great Deku Tree Set: Pure Hylian Goodness

This set, named The Grand Deku, promises total immersion in the world of Hyrule with its 2,500 pieces. Offering two different builds, one showcases the Grand Deku as seen in the Kokiri Forest from the first chapter of the iconic The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time. The second one represents the aged and overgrown large tree from the recent Breath of the Wild game.

Game Features Inspired by the Original Adventures

Each model offers unique gameplay features. The Ocarina of Time set includes a section inspired by the game’s first dungeon and a replica of Link’s house in the Kokiri village. The Breath of the Wild model hides Koroks, but unfortunately does not increase your actual inventory slots. It also features the Master Sword buried in its pedestal. Additionally, the set includes a range of accessories and beloved characters: Zelda, Link, the Deku Shield, and the Sheikah Slate, to name a few.

Availability and Partnership

The Lego Legend of Zelda Great Deku Tree set is available for pre-order in the US for $300, with an official release scheduled for September 1st. It’s worth noting that this is not the first result of the collaboration between Nintendo and Lego; sets based on Mario and Animal Crossing have recently been introduced.
